Valentines Day 2016

Kolton celebrated his first Valentines day!
(I am back posting this so I can't remember much :/ )
I do remember we took my dad out to lunch, this was his first anniversary without my mom. They would have been together for 29 years that day if she were still here with us.

Dallas World Aquarium

We decided to go to the aquarium as well this past weekend. This was one of the best aquariums I have been to. It was pretty neat, and Kolton enjoyed this much better than the zoo. I think there was just more going on, more sounds, more movement, more colors. He loved it, especially all the fish. Those were his favorite for sure, and the waterfall too. 

Keith had no idea that this shark was behind him. haha.

Dallas Zoo

So Koltons first trip to the zoo was interesting. None of us thought to look up the hours, and unfortunately the zoo closed 45 minutes after we got there. But we made the best of it and walked around as much as we were able. We will definitely have to make a trip back when we can, before we move away! Kolton, however, was not all that interested in anything except my necklace and his daddies hat. I think the animals were just too far away, and moved too slow for him to really notice them. The giraffe, though, did come within petting distance. It was so crazy!

If you know anything about camera lenses, then you should know that this was taken with a 50mm!! He was really this close to me!
